education-desktop-mate software package provides Debian Edu MATE desktop applications, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install education-desktop-mate
education-desktop-mate is installed in your system.
Make ensure the education-desktop-mate package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep education-desktop-mate *
You will get with education-desktop-mate package name, version, architecture and description in a table
